Breakfast: Breakfast Sandwiches (again)


because I'm not sick of them.

Lunch: Tomato Egg


This is actually my first time cooking it so I went by the seat of my pants.


- Beat 12 eggs with salt, pepper, soy, fish sauce, mirin/xiaoxing, and sesame oil. Scramble on high heat in sesame oil and set aside.


- Chop garlic and shallots and tomatoes. Cook down the aromatics in sesame oil, then add the tomatoes. Let cook down to a sauce then add cornstarch slurry. When the sauce is ideal, add eggs. Chop green onion and stir in right at the end.


- Plate: Half a cup of rice and half a cup of scramble


Dinner: Much better pasta bake


- Boil water, add pasta, then turn the heat off. Strain after 10 minutes.


- Cook down ground meat with olive oil.


- Add a can of condensed cheddar cheese soup and a can of condensed cream of mushroom soup, then a bunch of pepper, to a baking dish. Add pasta and ground meat, then top with cheese and bake 15 minutes on the low rack at 375, then on the high rack for 7 minutes. yummy yummy
