Cast Iron Use and Care

To season a cast iron, rub it down with fat or oil and cook at a high temperature for a while. My old housemate Quentin did it for me when I brought in my rusty Lodge, alongside his cast iron.

Don't put that sucker in the wash.

I rub down the cast iron with oil regularly, because the thought of it drying out fucking scares me.
